![]() I will tell you I find this version of FCP quite awkward to use - but. For all I know most of these movies I'm getting are probably edited in iMovie. So I need FCP that is compatible with El Capitan. ![]() And I am running El Capitan (can't upgrade at the moment, too many audio softwares I run rely on it). All probably generated from iMovie, or some other Apple software. every single video I have received from them is different resolution and different codec. On this project I happen to be dealing with a variety of Apple-generated videos from college students that for whatever reason, COVID, or discombobulation, or too many different students involved and not enough teamwork, etc. I've been a long time Vegas Pro user (actually since way way back when it was audio only!). I have been editing video for maybe 7 years, when necessary and only if I'm asked to (otherwise I hire a pro editor as it's not my strong suit but I can hold my own on small stuff). I have many more years of experience as a sound editor / engineer, but I happen to need FCP for a project I'm working on.
